Ukraine is working to restore its arms export, but the new mechanism is not functioning effectively. According to the Ukrainian Arms Manufacturers Council, there are five reasons why exports remain unprofitable for producers. Meanwhile, the defence industry has received up to 10 small orders since the export programme was launched.
