On September 9, a farewell ceremony took place in Kropyvnytskyi for soldiers Yuriy Sydorenko, Denys Horobets, and Dmytro Kateba. The funeral procession stopped at the Heroes of Maidan Square during a nationwide moment of silence at 9:00 AM. All three soldiers had been considered missing in action for an extended period.
Reactive unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected at the border of Mykolaiv region and are moving towards Kirovohrad. The Ukrainian Air Forces reported their movement from the south, west, and north of Mykolaiv. An explosion also occurred in Kropyvnytskyi, and an air alert has been declared in the region.
On September 4, a memorial plaque was unveiled in Kropyvnytskyi for Dmytro Shylov, who died in the war. He voluntarily went to the front, was killed in battle near Krasnohorivka, and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

The funeral procession passed through the city streets, and during a nationwide moment of silence, people paid their respects to the fallen.
