Law enforcement agencies compelled a municipal enterprise in Mukachevo to return over 5 million UAH in unpaid taxes to the budget. According to the investigation, the enterprise had not paid environmental tax for about four years.
In September, Ukraine will launch an autumn campaign for the oral vaccination of wild carnivores against rabies. The vaccination will take place in several regions, including Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia, using a ground method for distributing bait containing the vaccine.

On August 30, KARPATY International School was inaugurated in Perechyn, Zakarpattia, serving nearly 900 students. The school features modern educational programs, including technological spaces for artificial intelligence studies and an observatory.
The new school year started in Uzhhorod on 1 September, with over 17,000 children enrolled. A total of 16,373 students attend municipal schools, while 998 are in private institutions.
