The Kherson regional prosecutor's office has sent an indictment to court against 10 Russian servicemen accused of drone attacks on civilians in 2025. The soldiers from the 404th motorized rifle regiment systematically targeted civilians, medics, and rescuers, which is classified as a violation of the laws and customs of war.
In the last three years, approximately 3,940 children have been evacuated from dangerous areas of the Kherson region, including 626 as part of mandatory evacuation. Authorities continue to conduct outreach with families remaining in hazardous zones.
On September 3, 2026, Ukrainian border guards destroyed two Russian boats along with their crews, who did not manage to launch them. A multiple launch rocket system and three enemy vehicles were also destroyed. The operation was carried out using drones from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces conducted a fire strike on Russian military positions in the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region. Detected concentrations of enemy personnel in the areas of Oleshky and Radensk were promptly relayed to Ukrainian troops for the strike.
