In the village of Domantove in the Cherkasy region, internally displaced persons are helping local farmers with the harvest. This provides farmers with additional labor and offers displaced individuals a chance to earn money and support the local community.
Three land plots totaling 40 hectares were returned to communal ownership in the Cherkasy region. The market value of the returned property is nearly 2 million UAH. A woman who received the land challenged the court's decision, but the appellate court upheld it.
Farmers and family farms in Cherkasy can receive non-repayable financial support. The Department of Agricultural Development of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration has started accepting applications under a program that runs until 2028 to support the vegetable farming sector.
