A ballistic threat has been reported from the territory of Crimea in Ukraine. Warnings about potential ballistic missile launches have been issued from various regions, including Odesa, Kherson, and Vinnytsia.
During the summer of 2026, Russia added 33 residents of occupied Crimea, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions to its list of 'extremists and terrorists'. The manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center stated that this is a form of political persecution.
Investigators found that Volodymyr Saldo, the head of the occupied part of Kherson region, owns two properties in Crimea: one in Simferopol and another in Gurzuf. It was also revealed that his daughter works at 'Rosatom' and sold an apartment in Moscow.
