During the first week of September, the Ukrainian UAV forces struck 34 energy nodes in the temporarily occupied territories and Crimea as part of the "Krym Rubilnyk off" operation. Since the operation began on July 6, a total of 374 energy infrastructure objects have been targeted.
On September 1, 2026, gasoline disappeared from many gas stations in Crimea, despite promises from the occupying authorities to improve the situation. The head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced that fuel sales would be limited to four hours a day due to insufficient supplies.
On 30 August, a significant fire erupted at the airfield in occupied Dzhankoi, as captured by satellite images. The blaze engulfed several facilities, including a vehicle park, a fuel depot, and an electrical substation.
