The political leadership of Russia has set a new deadline for the occupation of Donetsk Oblast by the end of 2026, while Russian military officials are requesting an extension until March 2027. This was reported by Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on his Telegram channel.
