The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated nearly 400 million UAH for the restoration of 11 residential buildings in Kharkiv, Derhachi, Izium, Balakliia, and Chuhuiv. The main phase of the work is scheduled for 2026-2027, aimed at responding to new destruction caused by Russian attacks.
In Kharkiv, restoration of a historical building damaged by a drone attack on June 9 has begun. The work started on August 24 with the support of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration after coordination with the Ministry of Education and Science.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov proposed to shorten the curfew hours in the city, which would allow businesses to operate longer and public transport to run for more hours. The final decision will be made by the Regional Defense Council. The city is also preparing for a challenging heating season.

Approximately 1,300 liters of stolen product were seized, along with over 10.6 kilometers of plastic hoses leading to storage sites.
On September 3, maintenance work on the gas supply system is scheduled in Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district, leading to a temporary gas supply interruption. The outage will affect numerous addresses, including Nauky Avenue.
On September 1, 2026, Dergachi and all settlements in the Dergachi community were left without power due to shelling by Russian forces. The Malodanilivka community also suffered, with four settlements completely without electricity and two others partially affected. There are currently no timelines for restoring power.
