On 29 August, Ukraine commemorates the Day of Remembrance for Fallen Defenders. President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, urging citizens to remember and honour the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence. During the events, he presented awards to the families of the fallen heroes and laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance.
