20 серпня 2026 року Кабінет Міністрів України ухвалив рішення, яке звільняє промислових і комерційних споживачів, що забезпечують щонайменше 80% свого енергоспоживання за рахунок власної генерації, розподіленої енергії або імпорту, від обмежень електропостачання. Це рішення має на меті стимулювати розвиток розподіленої генерації та збільшення імпорту електроенергії.
