In August 2026, steel production in Ukraine fell by 57.3% compared to the same month last year, totaling 277,000 tons. A decline was also observed compared to July, with a drop of 39.4%. The main reasons include the blockade of maritime logistics, trade restrictions, and Russian strikes on metallurgical enterprises.
