Russia seeks aircraft from Vietnam amid aviation shortages

Russia has approached Vietnam for aircraft along with crews due to a shortage in its aviation fleet. In return, Moscow has offered long-term oil supplies. It is reported that nearly one in five aircraft in Russia is currently idle.
