24 серпня 2026 року, в День Незалежності України, президент Володимир Зеленський присвоїв нові військові звання 13 вищим офіцерам Збройних сил, СБУ, Національної поліції, ДСНС та Нацгвардії. Серед них чотири офіцери отримали звання бригадного генерала, а інші - генерал-майора.
