On August 25, 2026, soldiers from the 33rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a Russian serviceman who is the nephew of a deputy from the Perm City Duma. He spoke about the promises he received when signing a contract with the Russian army and expressed a desire to be exchanged for a prisoner from Azovstal.
