Defence Ministry clarifies payment issues for soldiers who desert

The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has clarified payment regulations for soldiers who desert their units. Payments cease from the moment of desertion and resume upon return, but no compensation is provided for the absence. The ministry also dispelled the myth of automatic bank card blocking for soldiers in cases of desertion.
