The Ukrainian Chess Federation urged the International Chess Federation not to appoint Mykhailo Podolyak and Pavel Kolobkov as vice-presidents of FIDE. The UCF also requested the Security Service of Ukraine to assess Podolyak’s actions, claiming he is not authorized to represent Ukraine in the organization.
