Legislative initiatives against fraudulent call centres in Ukraine
The case began with discussions on the need to take action against call centre owners. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to submit bills to the Verkhovna Rada that would strengthen criminal liability for organisers of fraudulent call centres. Subsequently, a law was signed that introduces criminal responsibility for the activities of such call centres.
