In September 2026, a meeting of the Coordination Council on the Protection of Veterans' Rights was held in the Office of the President of Ukraine, discussing issues related to war veterans, their families, captives, and the missing. Following this, responsible officials for veteran policy were appointed in each ministry.

A meeting of the Coordination Council on the protection of veterans' rights was held at the Office of the President of Ukraine. The meeting, chaired by Kyrylo Budanov, focused on issues related to war veterans, their families, as well as prisoners of war and missing persons.
