The Cherkasy City Council faced an issue with an overcrowded shelter for stray dogs. The shelter manager attempted to balance the demands of the local cleanliness service with the actual conditions at the shelter.
From the beginning to today
A meeting took place in Cherkasy to discuss the development of the Animal Assistance Center. Participants addressed cooperation between animal rights activists and municipal workers, as well as improving conditions for stray animals. Proposals included a memorandum of cooperation and the establishment of a cat shelter.
