As of September 1, Ukraine has sown 445,300 hectares of winter rapeseed, which is about 40% of the expected area. Farmers have also begun sowing cereals.
As of September 8, winter grain sowing has commenced in Ukraine. Currently, 48.6 thousand hectares have been sown, which is 0.9% of the forecasted 5.211 million hectares. Sowing is taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
