As of September 1, 2026, Ukraine has sown 445,300 hectares of winter rapeseed, which is 40% of the planned area. From September 9, farmers also began sowing winter grains in seven regions of the country.

As of September 1, Ukraine has sown 445,300 hectares of winter rapeseed, which is about 40% of the expected area. Farmers have also begun sowing cereals.
As of September 8, winter grain sowing has commenced in Ukraine. Currently, 48.6 thousand hectares have been sown, which is 0.9% of the forecasted 5.211 million hectares. Sowing is taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
