A 55-year-old resident of Cherkasy attempted to bribe a border guard at the "Smilnytsia" checkpoint to cross into Poland by placing 300 euros under his documents. The man lacked the necessary permits for border crossing and, after being denied, decided to offer a bribe. The border guards refused the illegal proposal and handed the man over to the police.
