The National Bank of Ukraine will introduce a new 2000 UAH banknote into circulation from September 4, 2026, making it the largest denomination in a single note in the country. The front of the banknote features the image of Vasyl Stus. Additional information about the new banknote has emerged in the days following the announcement.
