The case of Serhiy Ivanov, a serviceman of the HUR, began following a shooting incident between HUR and SBU personnel on September 1, 2026. On September 4, the Pechersk Court in Kyiv chose a preventive measure, but later released Ivanov under personal obligation.
From the beginning to today
On September 4, 2026, the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv began proceedings to choose a preventive measure for Serhiy Ivanov, a serviceman of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who was charged in a shooting case. The court chose personal surety as the preventive measure, despite the prosecutor's request for detention.
