Between August and September 2026, Russian military shelling in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions resulted in at least 12 civilian deaths and over 100 injuries. From August 24 to 28, Russian forces shelled the Donetsk region, resulting in at least three deaths and over 50 injuries. Attacks occurred in various settlements, including Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
On September 2, Russian forces injured six residents of Donetsk region, including five in Kramatorsk. On September 3, five new injuries were reported in the area.
Over the past day, Russian troops shelled settlements in the Donetsk region 17 times. As a result of the attacks, there is one injured person, and residential buildings, a store, and two factory workshops were damaged. A total of 915 people were evacuated, including 136 children.
