In August 2026, data revealed that Ukrainian banks earned a profit of 54.07 billion UAH in the first half of the year. State-owned PrivatBank accounted for nearly half of this total, while the ten most profitable institutions concentrated 88% of the overall profit. The National Bank of Ukraine also published its interim financial statements.
