From September 1, 2026, Ukraine will implement changes to its pension payment system. Certain categories of pensioners will receive automatic supplements based on their age and insurance record.
In September 2026, Ukraine will carry out a pension recalculation for certain categories of pensioners. In particular, increases in payments and additional allowances are planned, although there are also complaints about incorrect pension indexing.
In September 2026, there will be no general pension recalculation in Ukraine, but some pensioners will receive increased payments due to age supplements. Information on which pensioners will receive these supplements will be made available.
Starting from September 2026, Ukraine has introduced new monthly pension supplements for the elderly. Pensioners over 70 can receive up to 570 hryvnias automatically, depending on their age, without the need to apply to the Pension Fund.
