Throughout August 2026, numerous instances of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were recorded across various regions in Ukraine, including Kherson, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv. UAVs were observed moving from different directions, with activity noted over several days, particularly from August 22 to 29. Notably, the presence of reactive UAVs was reported in various settlements in Kyiv region, raising concerns among the local population.
From the beginning to today
Several instances of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were recorded moving towards Kherson and Odesa on August 22-23. The drones approached from various directions, including the east and north.
On August 22, 2026, multiple instances of drone activity were recorded in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy. Drones were observed moving from the south towards Zaporizhzhia and from the north towards Sumy.

Several instances of rocket drones have been reported in the Odesa region. The drones were observed in various localities, including Dobroslav, Lymanka, Chornomorske, and towards Artsyz.
Drones have been observed moving towards the towns of Synelnykove, Pavlohrad, and Kamianske in Dnipropetrovsk region. Reports of their movement were received over several days, specifically on August 22, 25, and 26, 2026.
