National moment of silence in Ukraine

In Ukraine, a national moment of silence is held daily at 9:00 AM to honour the memory of those who died in the war against Russia. This tradition, initiated on March 16, 2022, serves as a sign of gratitude and mourning for those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom. Citizens pause for a moment to remember the military, civilians, and children who lost their lives due to the armed aggression.
