Storyline
Switzerland has extended temporary protection for Ukrainians until 2028, with stricter rules for conscripted individuals. The EU has introduced demands to end payments to Ukrainian refugees and new regulations for women regarding military service verification. From 30 July 2026, Ukrainians are advised to obtain a stamp in their passports when crossing the border, linked to new temporary protection conditions.
