On August 25, 2026, Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Kryvyi Rih using three guided bombs. Initially, there were no reported casualties. However, on August 27, a missile strike on an industrial facility injured at least three people.
On 28 August, Russian forces attacked the city of Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, resulting in a fire. According to the head of the regional military administration, the number of injured has risen to four, with three in serious condition.
Several explosions were reported in Dnipro and its suburbs. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the movement of reactive drones towards the city. Smoke was observed following the explosions.
