Negotiations between the Ukrainian side and American special envoys began on September 6, 2026, in Kyiv. Following several rounds of discussions, President Zelensky announced a meeting with Donald Trump, during which ideas for peace negotiations are expected to be discussed. Currently, the negotiations are ongoing but have not yielded significant results.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of negotiations between the Ukrainian side and Donald Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The talks are taking place in Kyiv, where the delegation also plans to meet with European partners.
