Discussions are ongoing in Ukraine regarding changes to electricity tariffs for residential consumers. From 1 September 2026, the tariff will remain unchanged, but new conditions will be introduced from 1 October 2026, allowing some consumers to reduce their costs by half. The issue of tariff increases from 1 November remains open.
From the beginning to today
Discussions are ongoing in Ukraine regarding potential changes to electricity tariffs for household consumers. The current price per kWh is set to remain in effect until October 31, 2026, but the possibility of a tariff increase from November 1 remains open.
From 1 September 2026, the electricity tariff for household consumers will remain unchanged. However, consumers can reduce their costs by switching to multi-zone metering, which allows them to pay for electricity based on the time of day.
Starting from October 1, 2026, new tariff conditions for electricity in Ukraine will allow some consumers to reduce their costs by half. Ukrainians are advised to optimize their electricity consumption and properly set up household appliances. Special benefits will also be available for owners of electric heating.
Starting from October 1, 2026, new electricity tariffs will be implemented in Ukraine. The government plans to introduce a preferential tariff for electric heating and is considering a new pricing model for the population.
