On August 19, 2026, the Verkhovna Rada approved a law providing comprehensive support for families with disabled children, including an increase in monthly payments starting in 2027. Discussions on potential changes to payments for low-income families began on August 21, 2026.

19 серпня Верховна Рада України ухвалила закон, що передбачає комплексну державну підтримку для сімей з дітьми з інвалідністю. З 2027 року щомісячні виплати для дітей з інвалідністю зростуть до 8–16 тисяч гривень залежно від потреби в догляді.
