In August 2026, Ukraine intensified its energy cooperation with European countries, receiving over 4,600 units of equipment from the Czech Republic and signing an energy partnership declaration with Lithuania. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal held meetings with representatives from France, the Netherlands, and the UN to discuss support for Ukraine's energy sector. Overall, Ukraine received equipment worth nearly €1.4 million from the EU, the UK, and Luxembourg.
