Assessment of freedom in occupied territories of Ukraine
The American organisation Freedom House has recognised the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine as the least free places in the world for the second consecutive time, assigning them a score of -1 out of 100. The Secretary General of the Council of Europe stated that there is a systematic eradication of Ukrainian identity in these areas.
