Increase in the number of internally displaced persons from Kherson in Mykolaiv
Mykolaiv is witnessing a significant increase in the number of internally displaced persons from Kherson, who make up nearly 90% of the total. Currently, over 26,000 displaced individuals reside in the city, with the largest number registered in the Ingul district. Since the beginning of 2026, more than 5,400 inquiries from displaced persons have been recorded by social protection authorities.
