In August-September 2026, numerous combat engagements were recorded on the frontline in Ukraine, including 196 battles on August 23 and 207 battles on September 4. The highest activity was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces conducted multiple attacks and airstrikes. From the beginning to today
On August 23, 2026, Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft targeted a Russian drone control site in Oleshky, Kherson Oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there have been 196 battles since the start of the day, particularly in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions.
Over two days, there were 206 and 175 battles reported, respectively. The highest activity of Russian forces was observed in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defence Forces recorded 207 combat clashes with Russian troops since the start of the day. The highest activity occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy launched 31 attacks. According to the General Staff, the enemy also deployed 5,315 drones and dropped 203 bombs.
On September 3, 2026, there were 199 combat clashes on the front, including 26 on the Pokrovsk and 18 on the Southern Slobozhansky directions. Russian forces conducted 73 airstrikes and carried out 2,374 shellings. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the enemy's activity in various sectors of the front.
