Russian forces shelled the Sumy region from 23 to 24 August, resulting in one woman's death and 12 injuries. Reports indicate that over 50 strikes targeted 25 to 26 settlements across 15 to 21 territorial communities.
From August 31 to September 1, Russian forces conducted nearly 60 shellings across 26 settlements in the Sumy region. As a result of the attacks, five people were injured, and residential buildings and civil infrastructure were damaged. As of September 2, one person was reported dead and eight others injured due to further attacks.
