On September 11, 2026, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine established an interdepartmental working group to enhance the service conditions for foreign volunteers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first meeting of the group focused on developing a framework for foreigners at all stages of service, including legalisation and social protection.
