Researchers from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology have developed a biomaterial for 3D printing houses on Mars, using sand, gelatin, and genetically modified yeast. This material enables colonists to utilise local resources for construction. Later, Chinese researchers also announced the creation of living cement for building on Mars.
