Hamas planning attacks in Europe
Hamas was planning coordinated attacks on Jewish and Israeli targets in Germany and Austria, scheduled for October 2025. The German Federal Prosecutor's Office charged seven suspects with membership in the terrorist organisation Hamas. Subsequently, it was reported that Hamas was also preparing new terrorist attacks in Europe ahead of the October 7 anniversary.
