Restoration of textbooks in Ukraine after Russian attacks
Over 1.2 million textbooks were destroyed in Ukraine due to Russian attacks. The Ministry of Education and Science initiated their reprinting, aiming for delivery by November 1, 2026, although some materials will not be ready for the start of the school year. As of September 16, more than 44% of the destroyed textbooks have been restored, with 88.6% from the first batch already delivered to schools.
