Storyline
In August-September 2026, water quality issues were reported in Ukraine. Initially, residents of Kharkiv were advised against swimming in the Zhuraivlivka area, followed by the detection of deviations in 12 water samples in Cherkasy and five samples in the Kamianske community. The situation regarding water quality remains under control but raises concerns.

In the Cherkasy region, specialists tested drinking water samples and found deviations from standards. From August 31 to September 4, 158 samples were tested for microbiological and 140 for sanitary-chemical indicators, with deviations found in two samples.
