As of 25 August, Ukrainian farmers have harvested 58% of the projected area for early grains, yielding 31.7 million tonnes of grain. Wheat accounts for the largest share at 24.6 million tonnes, with the highest yield recorded in Khmelnytskyi at 70.8 quintals per hectare.

A total of 31.94 million tonnes of new crop grain has been collected, including 24.76 million tonnes of wheat. The harvesting of sunflower and soybean has also begun.
As of September 8, Ukrainian farmers completed the harvesting of barley and peas, and are nearing completion of wheat collection. The total gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops reached 32.2 million tonnes with an average yield of 47 quintals per hectare.
