Record deposits of Ukrainians in banks in 2026
As of August 1, 2026, the total amount of individual deposits in Ukrainian banks reached UAH 1,750.6 billion, marking a historical high. Throughout August, deposits increased by UAH 1.3 billion, and by September 1, 2026, the total rose to UAH 1.76 trillion, largely due to the growth of foreign currency deposits.
