Internally displaced persons in Ukraine can receive financial assistance, but new rules may affect these payments. Specifically, if a relative of a displaced person has already received aid, it could result in the loss of payments for the displaced individual.
In September 2026, Ukraine updated the rules for support programs for internally displaced persons. The changes involve housing vouchers, the "eOselya" program, and compensation for damaged housing. IDP veterans with vision impairments can receive up to 95,000 hryvnias in targeted assistance.
