Zaporizhzhia experienced several Russian drone attacks in August and September 2026, resulting in injuries and fatalities. The first attack on August 25 injured seven people, followed by incidents that included an assault on a civilian vehicle and a volunteer car, leading to two deaths on September 1.
From the beginning to today
On 25 August, Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia, injuring seven people. The assault caused a fire involving around ten vehicles in a parking lot.
On 27 August, a Russian FPV drone attacked a civilian car in Zaporizhzhia, injuring two men. The incident occurred at an intersection while the car was stopped at a traffic light.
On September 1, a Russian drone attacked a vehicle of volunteers conducting evacuation in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attack, two people were injured. Additionally, on August 31, a drone strike on a civilian vehicle in Kushuhum resulted in the deaths of a 47-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman.
On September 1, a Russian drone attacked a civilian car in the village of Kushuhum in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to one person. The deceased were a 73-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman. Additionally, four emergency service workers and three civilians were reported injured.
