From August to September 2026, the Russian Federation launched a series of attacks on Ukraine using drones and ballistic missiles. The Ukrainian Air Forces successfully intercepted a significant portion of the enemy targets, including 134 out of 162 drones on August 26 and 96 out of 121 drones on August 31. From the beginning to today
On the night of 26 August 2026, the Ukrainian Air Force neutralised 134 of the 162 strike drones launched by the Russian Federation. Drone strikes were recorded at 18 locations, with debris falling in three areas.
On the night of August 31, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using a Kh-59 missile and 121 drones. Air defence forces intercepted 96 drones, but strikes were recorded at 11 locations. A new attack on September 1 resulted in the downing of 5 ballistic missiles and 187 drones.
At night, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine with 92 drones, of which 71 were intercepted by air defense. Hits were recorded at 12 locations, and debris fell at one site.
