The case began following the death of an 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier named Lyalya at a veterinary clinic in Dnipro. The dog's owner, Alla Kulibova, reported unsatisfactory treatment by the veterinarians. Subsequently, three new criminal cases were opened against the clinic.
